You can’t learn how to do something new or understand specific type of information. No, I see people who don’t want. They do only what they like to do when they like to do it. This way nothing happens and there is no progress. How you expect to have progress leading to success when you always don’t do what has to be done. This lack of discipline leads to time management and organizational problems as well. Except from lacking progress in their life, the people who procrastinate, feel like they are constantly falling down from a high cliff.
Yes, when something is new - a task, language or job, it is hard. Yes, it is not funny or entertaining. But you can emotionally explore different life zones - some will be fun, others not so much, but leading to progress. The key to progress and success is realizing what your weaknesses and strengths are. Then working hard to neutralize your weaknesses to become better at time management and stop procrastination. Definitely the easiest way for self sabotage is by procrastination and not doing anything. It is easy and you know how to do it so well. Are you ready to live a”quality” life like this for the next 2-3 decades? Or you ready for a challenge?
I have realized that people genuinely don’t believe in miracles, new beggings and changes simply because they want control and stability. But seriously, progress is colored inner and outer changes. By owning yourself, by learning new skills and getting rid of the old habits that are harmful namely procrastination - there is progress. People don’t make plans to achieve their goals by procrastinating and putting off what is not their piece of cake.
I challenge you to do 3 things that are hard for you and you avoid doing them day by day. If you want to make it even harder and productive start your day with these 3 tasks. At the end of that day you will be a winner. By setting a great vibe and making the steps to own yourself, you start the process of change. It doesn’t happen overnight and don’t do more than 3 things, because brain statistically remembers to carry out only 3 hard things at a time. You are the one who decides how much you deserve to have and what the quality of your life will be.
The people who have all that they want are the ones who don’t procrastinate. These are the ones who know how to work incredibly hard and play harder than the rest. These people realize we were given only one life and we have the chance to make it worth it. They work harder to see their vision unfolding and yes, they have figured out what their unique gift is. Talent is a gift you were born with, but there are lots of other factors namely working harder than the rest. You can build a solid, tough CHARACTER. It is noticeable that the people without huge intellectual potential work harder than the smartest ones. Character is the only factor that ruins or builds your success. Your playing small does not serve either yourself or the world.
