Fear is everywhere around us and takes different shapes and sizes. But the fear from change is the worst one for me. It does not allow new feelings, new people and new experiences to enter your world. It does protect the status quo against any possibility for better and more.
Our minds work and require certainty and safety in order to feel good. But changes are the only ways to open new doors, to see new perspectives and to have new experiences. Changes are chances for a better life that gives you more.
To allow the changes to enter we need to start feeling with our hearts rather than minds. The mind is logically built and doesn’t want any changes, because exactly the changes create more work for the mind. On the other hand the status quo is easy to process for the mind, because it is already familiar information.
But do we want to become prisoners of our minds forever and live the way we live now. Then transformation is not going to be possible at all. Change can happen if we start following our inner voices and hearts – they know the way. The wisdom that they can teach us is much bigger than our minds can even process.

What does actually “in-between” mean? Short phrase, not sounding catchy or vivid, but a little bit tricky. When I heard it lately I stumbled upon to figure out what was the meaning behind it. And the meaning changes rapidly based on the context that we apply ‘’in-between’’ for. Is it about your food preference what you like to eat or what you dislike? Or ‘’in-between’’ is about the life decisions if to start your own business, if to take a risk or make the steps to create the change you crave?
IN BETWEEN is your attitude towards everything around you. ‘’In-between’’ is your decisiveness or lack of any sign of decisiveness. ‘’In-between’’ is your hesitation or confidence. ‘’In-between’’ is if you know where you are going or not. ‘’In-between’’ is you and how you approach your goals and failures. ‘’In-between’’ is the clear, vivid and compelling life vision or lack of any direction.
Some people say that it is easier to follow the road that those before you have followed. It is easier to be part of a big group. It is easier to be advised what to do about the big things in life. And what happened then? You’ve learnt how to be helpless. You prefer not to make choices and automatically you don’t have to take a responsibility about them. Taking risks could result in failure, so let’s not do this as well. To live in a safe castle of calculated risks, predictable choices, lacking any responsibility. That is how many people live.
Life is about choices, being decisive, finding yourself and understanding what matters for you. Then working on your own goals, following your dreams and yes, taking risks, calculated, but still they are risks. We all have the power of choice and by learning not to be helpless there is no ‘’in-between’’ in your character. You become solid, decisive, brave, inspirational and different. The game changers own all of those qualities and they know what they want, how they want it and how to achieve it.
The benefits of no “in-between” are numerous. Make choices that you want, take responsibility, be able to enjoy the rewards and successes. Learn how to dance in the rain and cope with the challenges and failures. There are inevitably failures and challenges in life – these are just different seasons in life. The pleasures of living life you enjoy and want are numerous. Building a solid character that supports innovation, growth and creativity are what no “in-between” means. Learn to value yourself and become the one you want to be. Leave the “in betweens” for all the people who can live a life with an “in between” quality.
